ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE

-         The school has highly impressive academic standards leading in K.C.P.E. and in District Mocks for the last four years since 2004 – 2007.  Below is the K.C.P.E. performance since 2002.

 

A)      2002 1st attempt – 21 candidates.

-                     Highest score 450 marks by Diviner Ongaki – joined Loreto Limuru girls and qualified with a Mean Grade of A.

-                     Lowest mark was 345 by Richard Omollo.

-                     Mean score was 382.

 

B)        2003 2nd attempt – 22 candidates. 

-           Highest score 451 marks by Alex Kisyula

                                    who joined Starehe Boys and qualified with a mean grade of A.

-                     Lowest marks was 345 by Rose Mollyn.

-                     Mean score was 387 ranked position 3 in the Province.

 

C)        2004 – 3rd attempt – 24 candidates

-                     Highest score was 462 by Winnie Nyabuto who was in Alliance girls.

-                     Lowest mark was 421 by Brenda Rose.

-                     Mean score was 442.  Ranked position 3 nationally and 1st position in the province.

 

D)        2005 – 4th attempt – 24 candidates

-                     Highest score was 433 by Phenny Nyamamba now in Moi Girls Eldoret.

-                     Lowest score was 389 by Nancy Moraa.

-                     Mean score was 413.  Ranked position 4 nationally and 1st in the province.

 

E)                 2006 – 5th attempt – 32 candidates

-           Highest score was 425 by Emmanuel Nduati who joined Mangu    High School.

-                     Lowest score was 382 by Faith Ngina.

-                     Mean score was 413.  Ranked position 4 nationally and 1st in the province.

 

F)                 2007 – 6th attempt – 32 candidates

-           Highest score was 446 by Kelvin Tichilo who joined Alliance Boys High School.

-           Lowest score was 382 by Florence Achieng.

-           Mean score was 425.  Ranked position 3 nationally and 1st in the province.

 

G)                2008 – 7th attempt – 32 candidates

-           Highest score was 425 by Pauline Nyakweba who joined Alliance Girls High School.

-           Lowest score was 402 by Elizabeth Kilonzo.

-           Mean score was 429.  Ranked position 2 in Coast Province.

 

The school has been the K.C.P.E. defending champion in the province in the last 4 years from 2004 – 2007.

 

Most of the candidates have joined very good National and Provincial schools.

-           Diviner Ongaki – Loreto Limuru Girls who did her K.C.S.E. 2006 and got 7 A’s,  Esther Adero – Limuru Girls K.C.S.E. 2006 got 7 A’s,  David Wambua – Allidina Visram in K.C.S.E. got 7 A’s and Brian Michira from Starehe Boys who was among the top ten in K.C.S.E. 2008 and many others.

 

The academic trend has been maintained by a close follow-up done for those in secondary schools, to make sure that they continue doing well in their schools.  Every end term, they forward their end term reports for checking and guidance.
